Recent deals
- Client buying French
property, they were let down at the last minute by their bank, but still
needed to complete within 10 days. , we funded the project, took a charge
over their UK property, to enable them to purchase the French house, we then
introduced them to our French Bank, who repaid us two months later, they
having taken a mortgage over the property in France.
- Our client agreed to buy a
2 year old 52 ft motor yacht. The boat was being offered at a substantial
discount for completion within 7 days. We funded the purchase, taking the
ships documents together with an undertaking from the Ship yard and harbour
master not to release the vessel without our agreement. We provided a marine
mortgage, which paid off our bridge.
- Client owned land with
planning; the plot next door became available, without planning. We funded
100% of the purchase price; planning consent was obtained within 4 months
enhancing the value of both plots. The client remortaged and paid off the
bridge.
- We were offered two
valuable works of art together with a vintage Ferrari against a short term
bridge for a land deal. We held the security until the land deal had
completed, the client repaid us within 3 months.
- Client buying in Spain,
original funding fell through, we took a charge over the Spanish property to
complete the purchase, the client repaid from a fresh Spanish mortgage which
we arranged
